BEHIND THE SCENES OF WWB'S JANUARY SHOOT

Last week WWB shot all the best young fashion collections for our A/W 12 preview.  So we thought it only fair to report on all the behind-the-scenes action and give you a sneak peak of what to expect from the January issue.
Studios in York were the setting for our shoot and our set was a modern grey backdrop that was the perfect accompaniment for the clothes which were a mix of party dresses, stylish vintage looks and cosy knits and outerwear. There were so many gorgeous outfits to choose from but a little black dress teamed with leopard print wedges had to be our favourite on the day, and one we will be queuing up to buy next season. Outfits were styled with jewellery which was a mix of high street finds and vintage necklaces sourced from ebay over the years.
Our brilliant hair and make- up artist expert created a series of stunning looks on our model Kristie, adding rollers to make a loose, tousled curl with plenty of volume to start and then putting her hair up into a loose pony tail. Finally we ended on an adorable high bun styled into a bow.
Inspiration for the make - up was inspired by the Dior adverts staring Natalie Portman with a soft dewy, fresh faced look created for the first few shots. Later Kristie was transformed into a sexy vamp with a dark plum lipstick.
The whole team was kept motivated by some great tracks whilst our style team was busy steaming, pinning and adjusting our garments to ensure they looked amazing in every shot.  We had an amazing time on the shoot and we hope you enjoy the results!
You can see WWB’s pick of the best A/W 12 looks in full in our January 2012 issue.
